Project, Dancers in Motion Against Breast Cancer. Jane Weiner founded
this organization in 1995 in New York in an effort to deal with
her younger sister’s fight with breast cancer. Jane brought
The Pink Ribbons Project, Dancers in Motion Against Breast Cancer
to Houston in 1997. The Pink Ribbons Project, Dancers in Motion
Against Breast Cancer has rallied together some of the nation’s
most prominent dance artists and professionals to donate their time
and talents in the fight against breast cancer and has received
national acclaim for its artistic strength, quality programming,
and concern for the cause. The Pink Ribbons Project, Dancers in
Motion Against Breast Cancer has raised over $500,000 to help in
the continued education, research, and awareness programs battling
breast cancer.
Lavaud
Staffing Solutions will make a $75.00 contribution
in the client’s name to The Pink Ribbons Project, Dancers
in Motion Against Breast Cancer for every placement we make. This
$75.00 pays for one mammogram screening for the medically under-served
